When I clocked some amazing bargains in the Rex London January Sale, I had to write a post on this and spread the joy.

First and foremost, I have bought all these with my own money – this isn’t a sponsored post…I just wanted to share what I found.

I have hooked up with Rex London in the past to write about their fab discounts – this post on What I Bought In the Sale that I wrote in 2019 and then a couple I penned back in 2018 – from AM to PM and A Christmas Stocking.

Anyway, I couldn’t resist having a peek at what the company had in store this year, as they offer some AMAZING deals – and I was right.

So here’s what I bought, why I bought it and how much I saved!

Tropical galore!

First and foremost, you might know that I’m a Tropic Ambassador, so anything with palm leaves on it – and I’m there. When I clocked these lovely Tropical Palm Glasses Case – reduced from £4.95 to just £1, I snapped up a couple – one for myself and one as a giveaway for the next person in my Tropic team.*

Sticking with the tropical theme – and to help me in my Tropic side hustle (where I can use these lovely products as booking incentives or little gifts for loyal customers), I purchased…

  • 4 Tropical Palm Washi Tape for £1 each (was £4)
  • A Tropical Palm Make-up bag for £2.95 (was £7.95)
  • A Tropical Palm lunch box for £1.50 (was £4.95)
  • 10 Tropical Palm Air Fresheners for 50p each (was £1.50)
  • 20 Tropical Palm Travel Atomisers for £1.95 each (was £4.95)
  • 2 Tropical Palm Tissue Paper for £1.95 each – no reduction but had to buy it!

The rest of the best

I also purchased some additional tissue paper for gift wrapping that was in the sale – and it’s this super cute Dolly Llama Tissue Paper. 10 sheets cost me just 50p (they were originally £2 each) so I picked up 4 of them.

As someone who likes spending time baking (when I get the opportunity), I clocked this Vintage Transport Cupcake Kit for just £1 – it was originally £5.95 so I picked up an extra one as a present for a friend who I know would really appreciate this.

Talking of gift ideas, I really am thinking ahead and bagged 4 of these ‘Make Your Own London Taxi’ kits. I thought they’d make great stocking fillers – and even better that they were reduced from £3.95 to just £1.

Like most people, I love stationery – and you can never have enough notebooks right? This A5 orange notebook was reduced from £2 to £1, so I picked up a couple.

Following me completing all of the Stranger Things series – and more recently, Cobra Kai, it got me thinking about how cool growing up in the 80s was!

And so when I saw that Rex London was selling this Audio Cassette Desk Tidy, I had to put 3 in the bag. They were originally £12.95 and I paid just £3.95 each, so I made a huge saving. I’ll be showcasing one on my own desk naturally and then saving them as gifts to people who, like me, appreciated life, songs and vibes of the 80s!

Bargains galore from The Rex London January sale 2021

The last couple of purchases I made were Good Luck cards – they were 50p each so I put 4 in my basket, down from £1.95, plus this Shirt Repair Kit for just 29p – what a bargain! Amazing considering it was £2.95.

All in all, I’m thrilled with my little loot. I spent a total of £87.31 (which included a delivery charge of £3.95). If I’d bought them at full price, it would have cost me £256.75, but instead I made a grand saving of £169.44!

Not bad for a half hour shopping trip! So as you see, I’m all over the Rex London sale – and I can’t wait until the next one – roll on Summer!

If you’d like to see what I’ve bought, check out the video I made here.

Have you made any great savings on purchases this month? And have you ever bought anything from Rex London before?

*I’ve just added to my team with a lovely lady who’s a microblading beautician. I’ve always said that for any massage therapists, nail technicians, beauty therapists, mobile hairdressers etc – becoming a Tropic ambassador is a GREAT way of retaining your clientele by offering them new products – with no sales targets. It’s a no-brainer. I’m so pleased to have grown my little team – if you’d like to find out more – send your questions to me.
